Dr. Philippe Tardieu is a doctorate in Dental Surgery of the University Paris VII and PG in Implantology from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at the New York University, Division of Reconstructive Comprehensive Care.
Dr. Philippe Tardieu, in relationship with New York University College of Dentistry is the founder of the Course “Current Concept in American Dentistry” that is held continuously since 1981. More that 1000 dentists from more than 28 different countries have been educated in this program. He is an International member of the American Academy of Periodontology, member of the Association Française d’Implantologie. He is Past-President of the CAI Academy (Computer Aided Implantology Academy). He is involved in Committees of the Implant Dental Journal, the International Journal of Periodontology and Prosthetic Dentistry and several other international journals. In 1996 he published a book to present and explain dental implants to patients. In 2009 he published a best seller with Quintessence Books: "The Art of Computer-guided Implantology” co-signed with Dr. Alan Rosenfeld. He is an international lecturer, author of more than 30 scientific articles and an experienced user of surgical guides. In between 1999 and 2006 he has been involved in R&D with Materialise Dental. He also had a position in the Medical Advisor Board. He is the inventor of the SAFE System® of the Immediate Smile® procedure and components. Dr. Tardieu is the founder and owner of ANPA MEDICAL SUPPLIES DMCC. a ISO 13485 certified company established in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to develop Computer Guided Implantology. He is the inventor of several dental software including AxisGuide® and E-Medical Manager® and AccuDent® online programs . Dr. Tardieu currently practices at Alabama Dental Center in Dubai, UAE. |
