Dr. Nikolaos Tselios was born in Athens in 1973. He graduated from the dental school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1998. He continued his studies in USA, starting from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where he completed a 3 years Master’s program in Prosthodontics in 2003. In Michigan, he was lucky to participate with the help of Dr. David Sarment in the first computer guided surgeries with the Materialise software.
In the academic year 2003-2004 he completed a fellowship program in maxillofacial prosthetics in MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. Immediately after he finished a one year implant fellowship in Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, TX where he was privileged to be part of the team of Dr. Parel and Dr. Triplett that completed the first ‘’ Teeth in an Hour’’ patient.
In 2006, he continued his academic career in the Dental School of San Antonio Texas, UTHSCA where he served as an assistant professor in the department of Prosthodontics. In 2007, he transferred to the medical school of University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE where he continued as an assistant professor in the department of Head and Neck Surgery, division of Maxillofacial Prosthetics.
He returned to Greece in 2008 where he was scientific collaborator in the department of Prosthodontics at the dental school of the Kapodistriako University of Athens until 2018. Starting 2018, he participates as an instructor and member of the board of the Dental 3D Academy of Dr. Diamantopoulos under the auspices of the medical school of University of Athens.
As of 2008 he runs his private dental office with special interest in implants, prosthodontics, and computer guided implantology.
Dr. Tselios has published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the International Magazine of Oral Implantology. He is member of the EAO and the 3D study club Ε.Υ.ΣΤ.Ο.ΧΑ
