The International Computer Aided Implantology (CAI) Academy
has been at the forefront and the driving force behind the development and application of 'Digital Technologies in Dentistry'. Its Presidents, Councils and Active Members have been the pioneers and inventors of Computer Guided Surgery and they have invested much of their career in developing relevant 'Digital Workflows' and proving their actual value in 'Dental & Maxillofacial Clinical Practice'. Since its inception, the CAI Academy, a non-profit scientific organization, has been organising numerous educational events around the globe, in order to prove the value and stimulate interest in 'Computer Guided Implantology'. Now, that the clinical benefits are finally widely recognised and 'Scanning, Planning, Printing, Guidance' becomes a clinical reality, the CAI Academy assumes an instrumental role in providing relevant education, training and certification of dental professionals, for guarding safety and quality of the relevant procedures. The '3D' effort therefore continues, with many challenges ahead!
